The Nowra Players are proud to announce that our first production of 2017 will be Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya.
Uncle Vanya is the story of Ivan Petrovich Voynitsky who is affectionately known as Uncle Vanya and his family and friends. Set on a rural Russian estate, Uncle Vanya tells the events of the visit to the estate by an elderly professor (Aleksandr) and his glamorous, much younger second wife (Yeléna) whose urban lifestyle has long been supported by the estate.
